產(chǎn)品詳情

  • 產(chǎn)品描述:

The fimH antibody CSB-PA362349ZA01ENV is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody against the fimH protein. It is produced in the rabbit immunized with a partial recombinant protein mapping within amino acids 22-300 of Escherichia coli (strain K12) fimH. It is only reactive with Escherichia coli (strain K12) samples. This fimH antibody has been validated for use in ELISA and WB applications. It is available as the IgG isoform. And it undergoes protein G purification, and its purity is greater than 95%.

fimH plays a crucial role in bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation. fimH binds to D-mannose residues on the surface of host cells, allowing the bacteria to colonize and establish an infection. In addition, fimH has been shown to be involved in the formation of bacterial biofilms, which are communities of bacteria that attach to surfaces and are resistant to antibiotics and immune responses.

靶點(diǎn)詳情

  • 功能:
Involved in regulation of length and mediation of adhesion of type 1 fimbriae (but not necessary for the production of fimbriae). Adhesin responsible for the binding to D-mannose. It is laterally positioned at intervals in the structure of the type 1 fimbriae. In order to integrate FimH in the fimbriae FimF and FimG are needed.
